I have had the pleasure of having some pretty major welding and fabrication work carried out on my boat by Baxter's Boat Yard. I have about 35 years of welding and fabrication experience myself but didn't have the time or place to do the work. To get to the point, I am more than impressed with the quality of work and friendly service received. A new front deck, front cabin bulkhead and gas locker bulkhead, amongst other things. ''We had discovered a major water leak on the boat and called the Boatyard for assistance. From the outset Beck and Bob reassured us that they would be able to help resolve the problem and just to get ourselves to them. Bob took about five minutes to detect that we had a split Calorifier. They sorted out water supplies for us overnight and the next day Bob expertly dismantled the boat to get the Calorifier out. They even gave us an electrical hookup whilst this was going on. Also, Beck provided a quote and report for our insurance company. All in all we cannot praise them both enough. A really helpful, friendly, knowledgeable team who we anticipate we will use again.''
